PU foam is an open-cell foam that is soft, highly elastic and particularly allergy-neutral. The material also has excellent thermal insulation properties. As you can see in the picture, we use polyurethane foam for contour inlays to pack sensitive medical instruments or tools, because the products do not suffer any damage during transport.
